Travel experience of person reaching Toronto from Delhi on June 10th - Full Details with package inside

Journey to Toronto, Canada :

• Route - Delhi via muscat via Frankfurt to Toronto

• Where boarding pass are issued (TRY DOING WEB CHECK IN I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT)

•  9th morning 10:15 am 

• Immigration was smooth 

• Asked for the following documents

• Covid Test report (I would say try getting tested at 2 different labs from India (ICMR approved)(I'll be attaching a link of that too)

•  Muscat RTPCR booking receipt

•  College Acceptance and Enrollment

•  College timetable and Fee payment receipt 

•  I had a Co-op letter too 

•  Arrive-Can app (make sure you fill it before 48hrs of reached Toronto only) 

•  Hotel bookings (3 days for those who are not exempted)

•  Quarantine Plan (I'll share mine you can edit and put your details and get a print out of that it's handy)

•  Got boarding pass (Delhi to muscat, Muscat to Frankfurt, you can even ask for Frankfurt to Toronto they gave it to some)

•  Immigration check at Delhi was easy 

• They will ask purpose of travel , travel route, destination and where you'll be getting tested again . 

# REACHED MUSCAT AT 12:10 pm (as per their timezone) (took 3 Hrs to reach)

•  As soon as we entered the airport went for RTPCR test asap 

•  After that security check 

•  Had a lounge booking ( everyone had )

• Where we got free food and drinks (UNLIMITED)

•  GOT our test results by 9pm 

•  Immigration check (cabin bag checking and all)

•  Boarded for Frankfurt around 1:30 am

•  Asked for College related Documents 

• + RTPCR TEST RESULTS

•  Boarding pass 

• Then boarded the flight flew around 2am 

#REACHED FRANKFURT BY 7:05 am ( Took around 7 hrs 10 mins)

• Directly went for security check in 

• Then headed towards our boarding gate 

• Check list (COVIT test result which we got at Oman, Boarding pass and Passport)

•  Flew around 10:15 am 

Reached Toronto by 12:35 (took around 8 hrs 20 mins )

• Went for custom check

•  Covid test result

•  College documents

•  Purpose of travel ( have concrete answer)

•  Show your positive test result printout too

•  Some college provides travel support documents (Seneca students don't need it)

•  QUARANTINE PLAN WITH BOOKINGS

•  Declaration form which will be provided in the last flight

• Why got tested at Oman not at Frankfurt

• Then proceed towards public health

• They will ask for your test result+ boarding pass + declaring form

• Then asked to proceed towards visa office where permits will be issued

• They will ask the same stuff why you came to Canada blah blah blah

• Then luggage

• Again public health where you have to show Covid test result+ quarantine plan

• If were tested positive prior show them your report, they will verify it and then will exempt you no questions asked regarding that

• Quarantine plan they will ask question ( is it sharing apartment or not , bathroom separate or not)

• Then exit.

• Some more document which you should carry

• # Unofficial transcript of your semester (which you have completed in India)

• If you are carrying medicines , then carry prescription

• Total cost 1.4 Lakhs 

• 2 bags per person

• You can bring more if you are Ready to pay 

• It's Rs. 6000/- for 23 Kgs 

• 1 guy who was traveling with me bought it he boarded the flight from Hyderabad
