Update on Airindia flights regarding travel to Canada
As you all know that the international flights have been cancelled by all the countries upon India due to the rise in covid-19 cases. The flights cancelled until may 31st of 2021.
But there is a miscommunication going-on that the flights of Air-Canada has been cancelled till June 22nd 2021.
From the tweets in the twitter from the people what air-India is thinking that they will be operating the flights only after June 22nd 2021 - July 4th 2021. After these days only maximum the flights will start to run.
Official statement about the flight operations are not yet informed by Air-India.
Here people are asking air-India about when will the flights start, then we got the response as that as the information they get from officials we will inform you.
So, easily understood that the flight ban may continue till 1 month i.e till June 22nd 2021 at least just like Air-Canada has done.
Air India to begin operations :
Air India will begin operating its flight services from London to Mumbai from May 17. However, the national carrier will not be operating on May 18, 23, and 30.
Here the confusion is that Air-India has released one post on twitter regarding RT-PCR Test for all the passengers who wants to travel to other countries have to show these report with QR-Code !
By this post people are in dilemma that whether their flights are operational from may 22nd or is it rescheduled to other dates.
People are not able to book the tickets till June 1st 2021, as they are getting these errors.
(This is the latest update by Air-India on twitter as of May 19th 2021 11.11 pm IST)
Ban on international passenger flights :
All commercial passenger flight movement had been banned in March 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic initially struck India. After a two-month ban, domestic flights began to resume while international passenger flights have remained banned.
Earlier, the Centre had extended the ban on international commercial passenger flights until May 31, 2021. However, these restrictions do not apply to international all-cargo flights. The government is yet to make a decision on the resumption of international passenger flights. India currently has a bilateral air bubble agreement with 27 countries, which are also exempt from international flights.
Lets Hope for the best ! Stay Home - Stay Safe !
